I was very fortunate to be able to attend the International Society of Schema Therapy Summer School in Barcelona earlier this month. Not only was I able to participate in some amazing workshops, including couples therapy and imagery rescripting, I was privileged enough to talk to and experience training with Jeff Young, the founder of Schema Therapy. Jeff demonstrated training with Jeff Conway, his New York colleague and a fantastic Schema Therapist in his own right.
I learnt so much over the three days and I am excited to share these teachings with you in the remaining STAA workshops being offered this year. I am also really looking forward to having Joan Farrell, PhD present a workshop with me in November - Interventions to Overcome Common Obstacles in Treating Personality Disorder.
After visiting three times previously, this will very likely be the last time Joan and her partner Ida Shaw, MA will be travelling to Australia. They are both world renowned and highly innovative Schema Therapy trainers and are not to be missed!
